Miss Ncebakazi Nompula is a Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance trained TPM and end-to-end LEAN specialist with passion for sustainable continuous improvement. Her genuine and intense commitment to people development it what defines success to her business excellence programme. She is a highly knowledgeable individual with wealth of skills and capabilities in previous roles as a manager and/or leader in Education, Research, Supply Chain, Production and Human Resource. Miss Ncebakazi Nompula is an ambitious, self-motivated individual who thrives on challenges, an analytical thinker, a visionary and transformational leader.
A qualified Chemical Engineer who passed her degree Cum Laude with 23 distinctions of 27 subjects in 2004 at the Durban University of Technology. A Silver medallist from the South African Institute of Chemical Engineers in 2003 for KZN. Miss Ncebakazi Nompula also acquired a Management Development Program from the University of South Africa to enhance her management skills in 2010. In 2016 she later enrolled in a Masters in Business Administration at the United Kingdom Heriot-Watt University- Edinburgh Business School. She also has managed to collect a selection of continuous improvement courses (LEAN and TPM) from the companies she worked for. A TPM Instructor from the Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance – JIPM Solutions through Unilever.
Her humble beginnings started with her as a receptionist at Excelsior college in East London whilst she was studying computer studies in her gap year as she could not afford entry to university. At Excelsior College she immediately looked for opportunities and became a teacher for the same course she was registered for to accumulate money to register for her chosen field of Chemical Engineering. She is highly equipped with a wealth of knowledge as a senior manager in research, education and training ,manufacturing and production in organisations like Heineken, Nestle, SAB Miller, Cadbury, Unilever,Johnson Matthey, AECI and the Durban Institute of Technology. It was then in March 2017 when she took her calling in business excellence to start her own organisation Global Excellence Enabler Solutions (GEE Solutions). Her main aim is to empathy the knowledge acquired across the world to help contribute in organisations creating value and reducing cost with more focus on the assets of the organisation people,
